Assistant Hospital Administrator

Hi!  My name is Carrie, and I started working at Chaska Valley in August 2017.  I am so happy to be here.  All of the doctors and staff have been so great to work with and learn from!  I have had a passion for animals my entire life, horses and dogs in particular, but I do love all.  Growing up, I always had a Lab in my life. They are definitely one of my favorite breeds. However, I now have a 5 lb. Chorkie named Calamity Jane, who chose me to be her human 3 years ago when she came in as a stray and helped me get through the loss of my 13 year old black Lab and best friend, Jetta.

I grew up in St. Boni, and graduated from Waconia High School in 2005.  Aside from working in retail and in the restaurant industry, I have worked as a counselor at a horse camp for a few summers, and also worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facility for 7 years.  In my free time I enjoy being with friends and family, photography, fishing with my dad, horseback riding, gardening, and of course anything having to do with dogs!

Certified Veterinary Technician

Hello, my name is Ashley.  I graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Technology and a minor in Zoology.  As long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals. When I was a kid and someone asked what I wanted to be, I would always say a dolphin trainer or veterinarian. I am so very thankful that the aspirations that I had as a child came to reality with getting my veterinary technologist degree.

I am a crazy cat lover, ask anyone that knows me.  I currently have a brown tabby named Lilly, who lives with my parents and a dilute calico named Mew with my fiancé Jack. In my free time, I like to go fishing, hang out with friends, or watch Netflix  On a lazy afternoon but am up to trying to new things at any time.
